Job Details
This position involves the following responsibilities, though other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Maintain facility operations to ensure reliability, asset longevity, and alignment with operational needs.
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
- Collaborate with operations leaders to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and manage capital projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, improving performance, and achieving growth goals, including defining scope, budget, schedules, and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform.
- Assist with project design, supplier selection, scheduling, equipment acquisition and installation, materials procurement, audits, and process updates.
- Develop and execute the site's preventive maintenance program.
- Manage maintenance parts inventory, including procurement.
- Perform tasks safely and in compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide technical support and resolve equipment reliability issues in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Offer guidance on staffing, training, employee relations, and performance management to support team development.
- Stay current with industry standards and advancements by networking, attending events, and reviewing professional publications.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least six years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, processing, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency in lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols for plant/production equipment.
- Knowledge of operational formulas, theories, and measurements.
- Familiarity with ANSI and QS9000 regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot using technical equipment and tools.
- Proficient in computer applications and technical systems.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and maintenance procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in a production or warehouse setting, with some time spent in an office environment.
- Frequent walking and standing required.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
